“Communication is the key to success.” This advice given to Rachel Fowler by a former professor proves to be helpful in any venture she’s explored. Throughout her time at the University of Kentucky, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and throughout her career, great communication skills continued to open new doors for Rachel.
Rachel joins the IMC team as an Account Manager, overseeing a diverse portfolio of licensees and their new product development. Her background in education illustrates many transferable skills into her work today. Rachel is no stranger to building relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and her approachable and good-humored personality is the icing on the cake. A student once said, “Ms. Fowler don’t play,” which she takes as a compliment to her consistency and discipline in all her projects.
The most inspiring aspect of Rachel’s job is the opportunity to build relationships and partnerships across diverse categories. Rachel noted, “Engaging in conversations with people from various backgrounds reveals the surprising commonalities we share, reminding us that we are all more alike than we often realize.”
Outside of the office, Rachel loves doting on her eight nieces and nephews and is a sucker for a good puzzle. She is very proud of her five-week camping adventures – yes, FIVE WEEKS – across the western US. But her favorite hobby is playing tennis, participating in multiple leagues and continuously striving to improve her game. Watch out for her backhand! She also loves spending time with her lovable Tabby cat Maggie, who happens to believe her name to be Baby. Maggie knows she’s in charge at home!
